The Malaysian goverment has approved the procurement of second a batch of six Kedah class (MEKO 100 RMN) offshore patrol vessel for the Royal Malaysian Navy. Contruction at Bousted Naval Shipyard is expected to start once delivery of the first batch of six ships is completed. Ships five and six, Kelantan and Selangor, are due to enter service by early 2010.
